After learning about this mask and loving the results, I started looking into other natural options for skin care. I frequently came across forums about using apple cider vinegar (ACV) as toner for the skin, so I decided to give it a try. After using it for a couple of weeks, I have to say that overall the texture of my skin has improved. When paired with the mask, the healing time of my breakouts has shortened and I’ve noticed much less redness and scarring. Of course results may vary depending on your skin, but if you want to give the toner a try, I’ve listed the steps below.
Here is what you’ll need:
A. Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (I used Bragg)
B. Distilled or filtered water
Step 1: Take 1 part apple cider vinegar and pour into a bottle or jar.
Step 2: Add 1 part of the filtered or distilled water. (Note: You can make the ratio higher or lower, my skin is not as sensitive, so 1:1 works for me).
Step 3: Combine the mixture by shaking the bottle.
Step 4: Apply the toner with a cotton ball after you’ve cleansed your skin. I prefer to use it at night since ACV is smelly.
Step 5: Once the toner has dried on your skin, you can follow it up with your favorite moisturizer.
Step 6: Store your toner in a dry and dark cool place.
That’s all for now, until next time, have a fantastic Tuesday!
